a couple of triads

The three defilement's that I try to keep that the forefront of my awareness is: greed, aversion, and delusion. Those three are terribly influential and cause a substantial amount of distortion pertaining to our conscious perception. Since this is the case, it is always some style of combined arrangement that these three modes effect each other. For example: when a person is extremely effected by a greed-oriented impulse along with the delusion of a very likely point in the future that they will defeat the odds of losing, in reference to gambling, one can suffer a tremendous loss of whatever it is that they are gambling with due to the combination of both greed and delusion.

Remaining cognizant and consistently aware of those three defilement's aids one in making more mindful and wise decisions from moment to moment. Practicing meditation helps ensure that one then strengthens their mental concentration. Such clear and pure concentration is very important to then provide wise inertia that propels ones next steps.

Vipassana, being insight, is another thing that I have been keeping in mind. I learned it as: anicca, dukkha, anatta. Those three are translated as: Impermanence, suffering, and non-self. Another useful and powerful three concepts that I have tried to keep present in the forefront of my awareness. A very helpful thing to keep in-mind while mentally examining ones potential meaning for making future choices. The three defilement's I often cycle through primarily to help me identify the nature of my mental thoughts and determining whether or not they are impure. Anicca, dukkha, and anatta I ones I use primarily for more broad reminders to my awareness that the world is full of impermanence, suffering, and that permanent abstractions are not the fundamental basis for existence.

This is a rather sudden and abrupt post that I am writing. I just felt like I really should share these thoughts considering how much they have really helped guide my life. I really do have a great deal of faith that these types of things were brought to my awareness from a tidal flow of karma that has a lot of momentum. I also believe this is from a force that is of a very liberating and enlightening nature. Keeping those two strings of three in mind as really steered and guided my choices. Anyway,

Cheers!
